Game Notes on Friday, Nov. 17:

The Wolf Pack (8-3-2-0) come to town tonight for the first of a home-and-home series. Hartford has won three of its last five games to hold onto its second-place spot in the Atlantic Division.

This matchup ended in a draw last season with each team taking one game out of the two.

Hartford is no stranger to scoring streaks. Forward Alex Belzile notched a point in eight-straight contests from Saturday, Oct. 14 at Springfield through to Saturday, Nov. 4 at Utica. His 12 points have him tied for 24th in the league. Defenseman Mac Hollowell jumped even higher to a nine-game run from the season opener on Friday, Oct. 13 to Saturday, Nov. 4. Hartford went 6-3 in games when Hollowell recorded a point during that stretch. Only one of those nine contests for the 2018 fourth-round pick produced multiple points with two assists at Lehigh Valley on Friday, Nov. 3.

The Wolf Pack are also strong late in games, going 5-0-1-0 when leading after one frame, and undefeated when ahead after two periods. Hartford has crushed the competition in the third period, outsourcing opponents 23-11.

A couple former Crunch players visit with forward Riley Nash and goaltender Louis Domingue. Nash scored 10 goals in 17 games for the Crunch in the 2021-22 season. Domingue spent two stints with Syracuse in the 2017-18 and 2019-20 seasons winning a combined 15 games and earning a pair of shutouts.
